By using NimTrace, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you are using NimTrace on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NimTrace platform, including the web application and all associated APIs and services (collectively, "the Service"), operated by NimTrace, Inc. ("NimTrace", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
NimTrace is an AI-powered cloud operations platform that allows users to investigate their cloud infrastructure through natural language queries. The Service connects to your cloud accounts (AWS, GCP, Azure) using read-only credentials and uses a large language model to interpret queries and present results.
NimTrace is strictly read-only. The Service never performs write, create, update, or delete operations on your cloud infrastructure. This is enforced at the IAM/credential level, not just software logic.
To use NimTrace, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Business accounts must be created by an authorised representative.
NimTrace is a single subscription plan at $1,999/month, with 1,000 investigations included. Organisations with SSO/SAML, custom deployment, or contract requirements can arrange custom pricing. Plan features and limits are described on our Pricing page.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorise NimTrace to charge you on a recurring basis.
Investigations beyond the 1,000 included per month are billed pay as you go at $3 each on your next invoice. There is no hard cutoff and no interruption of service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You may disconnect any cloud account at any time through Settings. Upon removal, we immediately delete the associated credentials from our secrets vault.
Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You retain all ownership of your data. NimTrace does not claim any intellectual property rights over the content of your cloud infrastructure or conversation history. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models.
NimTrace and all associated technology, including the platform, tools, and documentation, are owned by NimTrace, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of NimTrace without our express written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

NimTrace is an AI tool. AI responses may contain errors. Do not rely solely on NimTrace output for critical infrastructure decisions. Always verify findings through your cloud provider's console or CLI.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NIMTRACE, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold NimTrace, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine you have violated these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from Settings.
Upon termination, we will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
